Craftsman Snow Blower Choke Control Bracket

A choke control bracket is designed to mount a choke lever/knob, allowing you to open or close the choke whenever necessary. This bracket is designed for use with snowblowers and is made of high-quality metal and features a built-in choke lever and connects to a push rod which actuates the choke on the carburetor. If you find that you have little-to-no control over the choke, or that the choke engages and/or disengages at random, this bracket may be damaged or worn and need to be replaced. To replace this bracket, you will need a screwdriver and wrench to access the inside of the carburetor housing, disconnect and replace the bracket, and reassemble the entire housing. This bracket is sold as an individual and is a genuine OEM part.

The Hex Flange bearing, .630 inches I.D. is an OEM part. Black in color and made of metal, it is sold individually. It is installed using a wrench or socket and its installation has been rated as Easy by consumers.
This part attaches on the worm gear shaft in the cute, and is used to secure the worm gear on the shaft. If broken, you will no longer to be able to control the chute (or you may only have partial control). This breakage can occur due to fatigue over time, and means the part must be replaced.
