Out of balance often
After loosening top screws on back ,snaps in front,no need to total remove top changing springs you have to reach below top of case with vice gripes and attach to spring rod about 8 inch down and lift up (tuff for 80 year old) tap down on plastic retainer, turn retainer 1/2 turn so hook will slip out ,now lower spring it will fall out of bottom retainer. Now for reinstall ,instead of vice gripes on the spring down inside case with no room , by hand take new (correct color) spring reach deep inside and install bottom into bottom retainer now take old spring run long end hook threw retainer hole in top case, hook to hook ,now you can pull new spring easy out the top about 3 inches and now vice gripes above case with enough room to reinstall top retainer remove gripes now only 3 more to go
