One of my door bins and filter cap broke.

I searched the model number for my Whirlpool refrigerator on the internet and partselect.com came up so I clicked on it. The site asked for my model number which I typed in and there it was...a picture of my refrigerator in full detail and very well diagramed and labeled. motor was turning but no ice came out

took 4 screws out holding back cover of motor and un plug plug on right ps there is a tab to lift up before you pull plg use pliers to get off old coupling just keep unscrewing it till i catches good threads it will come off and put washers so you dont winde up back on to the striped part of the shaft. Crisper frame and rail were damaged

I removed the glass top and then rail and frame.
I had to remove the gaskets from the old frame and put them on the new one.
The steel support and the slide mechanisms were difficult to remove. I needed a screwdriver to do this.
Some directions would have helped here.
It was easier to snap them back into the new frame.
I set the frame and then rail back into the refrigerator,

The shelf frame and slide rail broke

This could have been a 5 minute repair if the shelf frame had included the U shaped metal piece and the front curved snap on decorative piece. I had to break the old frame, slide out the U shaped piece, insert it into the new frame then carefully snap off the decorative curved piece and attach it to the new piece. You would think for $100 it would be the complete set. The shelf did not support the weight of the drawers without completing these two additional steps. Read more...
