General Electric Microwave Drive Motor
PartSelect Number PS237772
Manufacturer Part Number WB26X10038
This is a microwave turntable drive motor. This is a genuine OEM replacement part. It accepts a D-shaped drive shaft. The drive motor is located under the glass microwave turntable, and allows the turntable plate to rotate while the appliance is in use. Your drive motor might be broken if it is noisy or does not turn at all. Be sure to disconnect power to the microwave before starting this repair. Simply unscrew the bottom plate and the drive motor of your microwave, disconnect the wires, and install the replacement part. This drive shaft is 21 volts, is about 2 inches in diameter, and is made of metal.

the carousel in the turntable would not work
I had previously determined the like culpit was the synchronous motor. The roller guide had flat spots on each roller. Order parts from Part Select - pretty good price, parts were delivered in 3 days - much faster than I expected. Printed out a parts diagram from their website and grabbed my screwdriver. Also needed a pair of side cutters to cut the metal web that held the motor cover in place - only need to unscrew screw that hold the cover in place (bottom), cut the metal connectors, remove the plate and unscrew the screw holding the motor in place, pull out old unit, replace with new motor and secure the motor with the screw. Put the cover in place and secure - put the microwave back on the counter, pluf it in, put something in the oven and start her up. Took less than 15 minutes and cost me $50 for the parts. Great deal and easy to do.

General Electric Microwave Turntable Motor
PartSelect Number PS12722592
Manufacturer Part Number WB26X32190
This turntable motor is for microwaves.
The turntable motor rotates the glass tray inside the microwave oven.
Because high-voltage capacitors in a microwave can retain a lethal electrical charge even when the microwave is unplugged, a service technician should install this part.

Turn table motor malfunctioning, noisy and intermittent.
My oven is installed above the counter making it a bit difficult to reach the screws closest to the wall. Instructions should note that both harnesses need to be disconnected and that there are two screws, not one holding the motor. This one issue made it frustrating since that screw is located towards the back away from your vision. This is when the flash light and a bit of contortions were required.
