Great company -- super helpful. Overwhelmingly pleased with the experience.
The product itself was kind of a pain to install, definitely required more than originally anticipated but we've got it installed. The company answered immediately, 1 call resolution, great questions to ensure the part I needed was in fact the one I was buying. 5 stars for PartSelect, 3 stars for the JennAir fridge.

Fit perfectly. 15 minute install (all ready had the old part out and cleaned the inside of the refrigerator). Price was excellent. Now if I could just figure how it became broken to begin with... I didn't do it is all I can find out.

Easy repair, part works great!
Part arrived quickly and was very easy to install. Works just as good as the original. Sure saved a lot of money compared to having a repairman come do it. I would definitely use this company again if I need a part. Very satisfied.

Hinge pin for drawer lid broke
1. Remove all drawers {3}, shelves {glass 1}, shelf support {1}. 2. Remove two {2} screws from End Cap. 3. Carefully remove End Cap and drawer temperature control part on the back wall keeping them aligned as installed. The part on the back wall swings out so that the tab on the left end of the piece may be withdrawn from the secu
... Read morering slot (hole). The two parts should be carefully removed while keeping the two parts at a right angle the way they are installed. The reason for this caution follows. 4. On the back side of both parts are plastic pieces that, I believe, can be easily broken if you are not aware. The pieces are connected together at the right angle. They are the control arms for the temperature control -- on right side End Cap only -- the left side doesn't have them or the rear part on the back wall. 5. The pieces must be disconnected and removed. You must examine and ponder how they are held in place and hooked together in order to disconnect and remove them without damaging them. The same advice is applicable to reinstalling the pieces in the new part -- End Cap. 6. After reassembled and keeping the two parts at a right angle, insert the tab on the left end of the back wall part into the slot (hole) and swing the two parts back into position. 7. Replace the screws. 8. Done, reinstall the shelf, shelf support, and the drawers. NOTE: I ordered the two screws but they were not needed.
Looked at the new part to determine what I would need to remove the old part. It was very easy to figure out. I removed the old end cap by taking out the screws. Once the screws were out I popped the side of the end cap off. There is a horizontal piece along the back wall that is connected to the end cap. On the left side of this piece of
... Read more plastic there is a small tab that clicks into the back wall. On the right hand end cap there is a sliding lever which controls the air in the deli tray. This control is made of plastic and appears to be pretty fragile> By gently bending this lever I was able to remove the control lever and install it on the new end cap. In all it took me about 15 minutes to complete the entire job. Very easy.

Dropped a jar onto the pantry and broke the plastic piece on end cap that moved the drawer lid.
Removed the lid and pantry drawer. Removed crisper drawer on right side and glass shelve. Removed 2 screws on glide. Removed 2 nuts with nut driver. Neither part could be repaired, both needed to be replaced. Both had broken pieces.
Removed the broken parts and freplaced it with the new ones. All it took was a little time and patience, to gently remove and replace both parts. Refrigerator looks like new. Easy Instructions to follow.
This kind of repair makes me love the internet. Thank you. Follow advice of my fellow posters but beware, all your plastic parts are very brittle from the cold. Proceed slowly. Broken hinge pin on the Chef's Pantry drawer cover
I removed the crisper drawers and glass shelf and set them aside. Used a nut driver (maybe 5/16") to unbolt the old endcap as well as the back piece which it was attached to. When the description states 'right side', is that on the right as you face the inside of the refrigerator or is it the right side as if you were standing with your back to the refrigerator?

Hi Kathleen,
That is a great question. It will be your right side if you are standing in front of the appliance looking in or at the appliance.

S/n KY2189941 the deli door retaining plastic pin broke off on right side (end cap w/temp-adjusting control slide). Is this end cap easily replaceable and is the part #ps11738568 ? It appears to have 2 or 3 mounting hex head screws holding it in place. I’m guessing the drawer metal slide detaches and reattached to end cap?
