Power surge burned control panel up
The control panel is located in the door of dish washer, first make sure that the power is knocked on unit, take about 10 or twelve phillips head screws out from inside panel of door, unplug power wires from module , reconnect wires to replacment module and reassemble door, really easy to repair, saved me a bunch of money.

Lower rack on my dishwasher had rusted out, due to use, wear and tear, normal use
I took out the old rack and put in the new rack. Took about 20 seconds tops. But I had thought I needed to order the wheels (8 of them) and the wheel attachments (8 of those, too) separately because when you go to order the rack, it is suggested that you buy those, too. But the rack came with all the parts I needed so I ended up returning the stud rollers. Very happy with the product and the friendly service.

Sump was leaking from previous repair person
Removed Dishwasher, inverted it and replaced the sump housing. There are 2 screws mounting the top of the dishwasher to the counter, a water connection and the electrical connection. Remember to turn the water off and the electricity off. Slide the DW out on carpet. Carried it to the garage to affect the repair. Reinstalled the dishwasher. Most difficult part of this is that the water hose is really short. I used a 6ft extension so that the next time I have to pull this out it will be easier.

Soap dispenser latch broke - never worked right
This was a piece of cake. The original soap dispenser never worked right and always left unused soap. The new part was easy to install and works great. Only needed a 1/4" nut driver and philips screw driver to pull the outside panel and replace the module rinse and cap assy. Easy!

Metal cover broke off of lower spray arm and gluing didn't work.
Turned spray arm while lifting upward to remove the old part. Place new spray arm over the water outlet and turned with light downward pressure until properly seated.

It less time to do the repair than it took to open the box and unwrap the part!

Actuator was broken
When I first tried to fix the handle I could not figure out where the spring went. I went back online and looked at the diagram of the dishwasher on this site and learned where it went. Once I knew where every piece went it only took me about 5 minutes to put it back in and another 5 minutes to screw the cover back on. I am a newer homeowner and want to be able to do minor fixes. This was my first one and was very happy that I was able to do it on my own.

Dishwasher pump leaked all the time
I received my dishwasher as a hand me down, my Aunt never liked the way it cleaned. After it sitting for about 2 years i installed it in my house and found that it leaked all the time from where motor shaft went into the pump housing. After disassembling everything and scouring parts sites online, I found the parts, ordered them. 3 days later i had the parts, and the next day I had a fully functioning leak free dishwasher.

Lower Rack would no longer roll out. Had to lift out lower rack.
Once we ordered both the "Stud Roller" and "Roller Lower Rack" the repair was simple.

The previous studs mostly disitegrated, so their removal was not an issue. The wheels pulled off easily.

I recomend getting new studs and rollers for all of the wheels on your rack. For me, that was 8 wheels and 8 studs.

First, take the rack out and flp it upside down in a convenient working space. Next, remove all of the old wheels and studs from the rack and discard. Then, snap the new wheels on to the new studs. Next, atached the stud (with the wheel) to each of the 8 spots on the rack. Put the rack back in the dishwasher and walla!

I can't beive that I waited almost two years to make this simple repair.

Dishwasher was leaking between the pump motor and pump assembly
The repair went smoothly. There were actually instructions included with the parts, so that was nice. The only "gotcha" I found was that . . . after you take off the old food-chopper, you have unscrew the old impeller from the motor shaft. This was a bit difficult and you'll want some good pliers to do it. Don't worry about stripping where the food chopper screwed on-to, that part is attached to the impeller and there is a new one on the new impeller. When I re-installed everything onto the dishwasher, it rattled the first couple of times while the wear-ring was finding it's seat. Don't worry, that's normal. It went away by the third wash. I think I still have a small crack in the pump housing, though. The pump housing is two halves of molded plastic fused together along a seam, and I think the seam is starting to leak. It's about one drop every 45 seconds. I'm thinking JB Weld will fix it.

Rusted upper rack with wheels
1. Removed the cap ends from the inner rails - easy

2. Removed the old rusted rack from the inner rails- easy

3. Removed the spray arm and conduit - a bit difficult: there's a hard-to-reach nut that you need to remove at the hub of the spray arm - A pain in the neck because it cannot be reached vertically.

4. Installed the spray arm and conduit onto new rack. Make sure the conduit aligns with the pipe at the rear inner wall! - easy

5. Installed the rack onto the rails - easy

6. inserted the cap ends - done!

Replacing rusted dishwasher racks
Lower assembly only require removal and replacement without tools. Upper assembly required screw driver and pliers to install water wand from old rack to new rack.

The most surprising aspect of this repair was the short 36 hours that it took from order placement to product receipt.
