its 2 years old and its getting black specs all over clothing. removed agitator and cleaned everything up. A week later the problem is back. removed agitator again, and its clean. dont know where the black specs are coming from. what might be causing this problem?
For model number MVW4505MW0
Hi Ted,
Thank you for your question. The black particles on you clothing is likely mold or mildew. To remove it from your washer, set you washer on the hottest setting on an empty cycle and use an Affresh washer cleaning tablet. Be sure to clean your washer on a regular basis to avoid mold and mildew from building up. We hope this helps!

Noise, grinding sounds. Wash tub stopped turning but motor and cycles kept functioning. Process of elimination, must be the clutch assembly.
Easy, just followed the repair video. Recommend also ordering the drive belt. Bought one locally during my repair.

Scratches in Surface
This product comes in a bottle with a brush like Liquid Paper. It goes on incredibly easy. A second coat might be needed. I wanted to prevent rust from setting in so I covered the scratches and dings. The paint is a little brighter since my washer is 10 years old but it still looks great.
