GMC921H*119 General Electric Dishwasher - Instructions

Removed screen bottom rear andfound a plunger type part, unscrewed plunger and found it was distressed around it and did not close of a tight seal. Placed new part into location and dishwasher now proforms perfect...

Remove the back filter to access check valve assembly. Twist check valve assembly to remove, not significant deterioration of rubber cap. Install new assembly. Re-install filter. Super-easy and effective!

Remove shield in rear. Unscrew valve using hand. Screw new valve in place.

I Just Open Door And Put Fill Cap In And Turn That It

Just remove the 4 screws at the lower rear inside the washer to remove screen holder...then unscrew the Piston and Nut Assembly by hand. Put in the new unit, reattach the screen holder with the 4 screws...and the job is done. Probably takes less than 5 minutes....very easy.

Simply took out old and put in new

Used drill and easy out to remove broken part, then put in new one

remove bottom tray and rear cover from inside washer.then remove PISTON NUT ASSEMBLY CHECH VALVE by turning it to the left. replaced with new valve assemmbly. IT IS workng like NEW.TOOK ME 30 minutes.VERY EASY!!!!!!!!!!thankyou allfor the help.

Opened package, removed cap and screwed it in place.

I pulled the old basket out with my right hand and inserted the new basket with my left hand! HA! Maybe 5 seconds!

After researching for a few minutes on this site I was pretty confident that the problem I was having was a faulty check valve. I removed the 4 screws holding the cover in place at the back of the dishwasher tub, twisted out the check valve and saw it was obviously shot. I ordered the correct part and 2 days later I had the dishwasher working like new. Installation was a simple as could be....twist in the new valve and reinstall the 4 screws.

Had to pull off the front cover where my problem was. Discovered a burnt out switch of some sort, looked it up on your site and found the part. It seemed expensive so I searched a few more sites and discovered you had the cheapest price. I ordered the part on Monday morning and used the cheapest shipping. 5 to 7 days is what i was informed of so i figured it was worth the wait. I got home from work Tuesday and the part was at my door (wow!) I still had my dishwasher torn apart so I put the new part in and about ten minutes later I was washing a load of dishes!
