First I removed the two screws that hold the element in place. I then went to pull the element out and one of the wires touched the side of the access hole. There was a spark and the electrical breaker tripped. (Remember to always shut the electricity off first). Before I put the new element in I took off the access panel on the back of the range, slid in the new element, attached the two screwd that hold the element in place. Then I went around to the back of the range and re-connected the wires from that location to make sure there was nothing around the wires that would spark. Put the access plate back on and I was done.

My stove would not heat. I could see that the bake element had a hole burned through it. Found this website. I was confused about what part I needed so I called the phone number and the girl was very good at locating exactly which element my stove needed after I gave her the stove make and model #. I ordered the part on Thursday afternoon. The part arrived on Saturday afternoon.

The hardest part of fixing it was finding the correct screw driver socket thingy (I'm not a technical person) to get the screws off with. Thankfully my neighbor had what I needed. I pulled my stove out from the wall (primarily because I needed to clean under there) and unplugged it. Unscrewed the screws, pulled the old element out until I could see the wire connections. I used clothes pins to hold the wires from going back into the stove once I unhooked them from the element (another tip I learned on this website) and simple slipped the wire connectors onto the new element, pushed it back into place, put the screws back on, plugged it in and TA DA... was baking a pizza in no time.

Very very VERY easy repair!!!

Took out the 2 screws,Pulled out the stove
Took the back off ,took the wires out of the little place where they fit in,Removed the old element.
Put the new one in Fitted the little thing which looked like a alumium flat piece back where we took the old one out.Put the back back on cut it on wheepe In business.Also the new element came here faster than I thought it would .I,m a 71 yearold grandmother.Pretty simple.

I first pulled the stove away from the wall to unplug and look from the rear. Look at the wiring from the back (you may have to remove 2 screws and the plate that covers the wiring) and take a picture of it if you can with your smart phone - this way when you go to put it back you have a reference. I then removed the oven racks and the 2 little bolts holding the element in place. Wiggle it toward you slowly so the wires don't pull off. It's easier if you use needle nose pliers to get the fittings off, if its hard wiggle the fitting it will come off. I put the connections on the new element and squeezed them tight not to move. I did put a small piece of electrical tape on the connection ends for my piece of mind. Screw it back in and, plug it in and turn on. If the element starts to glow your done, put the cover back on over the wires and slide it back in place. If your kind of handy you can do it.

Unplug stove.
Remove rear panel of stove with a nut driver or socket. Remove knob from switch and use small screwdriver to remove screws on front panel switch. Remove and replace each wire contact one at a time to ensure correct wiring configuration. Replace screws on front panel to secure switch. Plug stove in and check that it works properly. Replace rear panel and move stove back in place.

Pulled stove out and unplugged. At the rear of the range there were 4 faster. Used a nutdriver piece in an electric drill. Pulled off the cover and located the switch. At the front of the stove, I removed the knob and unscrewed two screws releasing the switch. I undid and replaced each wire connector one-by-one to avoid any wrong connections. Replaced and secured the switch and replace the back panel. All secured, power on and fixed! Easy repair, but something that had been put off for a year!

Read the instructions on how to remove the door, found in the owners manual. Once you release the hinge lock latches, the door can be lifted off of the hinge arms.

It is fairly heavy and bulky. I spread a large towel on the kitchen table and placed the door, front side down on the towel.

Remove the 3 nut screws at the bottom of the door and then lift the inner door assembly up about 3" and hold it up temporarily with a medium sized plastic food storage container. This will allow room to access the 4 nut screws (2 on each side) that secure the trim to the door.

The old trim was somewhat difficult to remove because of years of rust and other build up where the front door glass goes behind the trim. Be careful not to damage the glass. I used a putty knife.

The edge of the glass will be soiled so I used a mild abrasive cleaner to remove the rust and grime, and then used a window cleaning spray to clean the glass.

The new piece had to be "fitted" slightly to match the existing screw nut holes but it goes together quickly.

First , I have been working on electrical equipment for many years....and I forgot to un plug the unit from the wall. I assumed that if the oven was turned off I could remove the element, WRONG. One of the leads from the cord is wired directly to one lead of the element. When I tried to remove the element it shorted out against the wall of the oven. Then I turned the breaker off, unplugged the stove and finished the repair in about 10 minutes. Always unplug it first!.

Received part very quickly, easy to install, just give yourself enough wire on terminals when you pull them out, I let mine slip into holes they come out of and had to fish it out. EASY job.

First I pull the stove out and unplug it. Than I removed the back cover by using an adjustable wrench. I unplug the element two wires. Then I opened up the oven on the stove and removed the racks and using the adjustable wrench remove the two bolts that mounted the heating elements. Replace with new element secured with bolts and connect the two wires to the heating element and put back on the back plate and plug the unit back into the wall.

Nothing really rocket science here. The oven racks had burned on food, and I just replaced the racks..... slide out the old and slide in the new. Done !

Fue muy facil desconectar primero la estufa despues quite los tornillos de la parte superior detras de la estufa, desconecte un cable del switch y lo conecte en el nuevo despues el siguiente hasta conectar todos los cables en el nuevo switch. Lo mejor es desconectar uno por uno para mo mesclar los cables , despues removi el switch de la estufa y puse el nuevo , puse las partes de regreso y listo conecte la estufa t revise si funcionava el quemador y listo sin ningun problema.

about 3 inches and disconnected the two wires
and hooked a piece of wire on the leads to make sure they did not fall behind the cabinet.
Then I connected the new element to the lead
wires and removed the piece of wire and secured the new element in place with the mounting screws. Took about 25 minutes to remove and replace.
