Random igniter sparking and burner light always on.
The seriously tough parts of this job is removing the five Venturi Tubes that hold the burners in place and the cooktop surface down. One had corroded badly so the brass nut (it is the venturi tub itself) have to be removed by drilling. Luckily, the other four unscrewed.This resulted in needing to replace the venturi tube and its holder. Easy once you have access. Internal cooktop pieces are super simple and easy to install.

This spark switch is also commonly referred to as an igniter switch, or a burner ignition switch. This part is used on ranges and cooktops, this part makes the spark required to ignite the burners in your appliance when the burner knob is in the lite position. If the burner on your range or cooktop will not ignite you will need to check and possibly replace the burner ignition switch. You will need a screwdriver to successfully install this replacement part. Before you begin any repair work on your appliance make sure it is unplugged, and ensure the gas supply has been shutoff.
