Snow Blower Gasket--Exhaust
PartSelect Number PS9294808
Manufacturer Part Number 692236
This OEM exhaust gasket in lawn and garden equipment creates a seal between the engine block and the muffler or exhaust pipe so that exhaust gases do not leak. This is 3.30cm in diameter and 6.35cm in length. Your machine may have a loud hissing or popping sound coming from the exhaust area if the gasket was faulty. You may also notice the presence of black soot around the gasket or the exhaust. Your gasket needs to be replaced if it appears worn or deformed. Otherwise, your machine will experience exhaust leaks. To detach the gasket, remove the fasteners that secure it using a socket or wrench. You can detach the gasket from your machine afterwards. Please bear in mind that this replacement part is sold individually.

Screw can out of the carburator throttle baffel and stuck in the exhaust valve
No compression. Removed the cylinder head. freed the screw, checked the valve to see if it still sealed. Turned the head over with the valves in it, install a spark plug, fill the head dome with gas and see if any leeks out over a 2 hr period. If not you are good to go. Reinstalled every thing with new gaskets and a new carburetor screw. Set the valves to spec. Complete the rebuild and there you have it. Rebuild the carburetor while you have it apart. This motor runs great !!!

Generator would not start, Birggs & Stratton recommended to replase Gasket Exhaust.
Remove the spark suppresser, 4 face screws, 2 bottom screws and the two screws the hold the gasket. I also had to back out the top screw of the cover it blocked and prevented the removal of the gasket.
