This OEM auger control spring in your snow thrower connects the traction control rod and the auger control assembly. It regulates the engagement and disengagement of the auger for effective snow throwing. If the spring is broken or stretched, the auger will not engage properly and may feel loose. Abnormal noises or vibrations may also occur. If not replaced, the auger may become unpredictable or difficult to control. To replace the auger control spring, use pliers to release it from its attachment points. It is commonly located at the end of the control rod, attached to a sleeve. This replacement spring is sold individually.

blower housing on the customers log splitter broke.
blower housing on my brothers log splitter broke at the anchor points and caused the pull start to break and come apart. I was able to buy the parts and fix the log splitter for half the price of a new motor, saving him about $300.00.
