shaft quit turning

Hi Steve, thank you for your question. We have researched the model and would suggest making sure the chain is not tensioned too tight. If this does not solve the problem, we would recommend checking the shaft clutch, part number PS8896947, and the shaft connector kit, part number PS9321816. We hope this helps!
