Sample Model Number Tags
Model numbers can be made up of numbers (1005400, for example) or a combination of letters and numbers (LAT1000AAE). The model number will most likely appear on either a paper sticker or a metal plate. Your appliance's model number tag may look similar to the sample model number tags shown here (model number highlighted in yellow):
This OEM-sourced detergent dispenser cover, also known as a rinse aid dispenser lid, seals and protects the detergent compartment in your dishwasher. Typically located on the inner door, it covers the detergent dispenser assembly. When loading the dishwasher, you lift the cover to add rinse aid before running a cycle. If the detergent dispenser cover is broken, you may notice visible cracks, chips, or it may not stay in place properly. If left unreplaced, it can result in detergent leakage during the wash cycle. To remove the cover, first, turn off the power and water supply. Open the dishwasher door and gently insert a flathead screwdriver between the dispenser body and the cover, prying it off. When installing the replacement cover, align it at an angle with the housing and fit one side in before rotating it to snap into place.

Lid for the streak treatment wouldn't stay shut.
Use screwdriver to gently wedge the side of the dispenser body apart enough to pop out the old kid, then insert the new kid in it's place.

How is this part installed and is there a screw that secures it?
For model number SHE43RL5UC/64
Hi Terry, thank you for your question. This part just clips back into place at the short pins that are on the one side there. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

Does the dispenser aid door (#00166623) include the round gasket or must that be purchased separately?
For model number SHX46A05UC/26
Hello Bern, thank you for getting in touch. The dispenser door, part number PS8697157, does not include sealing. The lid seal, part number PS8697158, is compatible with your model. We hope this is what you were looking for!
Is the rinse aid cover supposed to stay closed all the time (and only open when we refill the rinse aid)? Or, is it supposed to open each cycle as part of the wash? Our cover doesn't latch very firmly.
For model number 63077943011
Hello Sam, thank you for reaching out. The dispenser lid opens to release detergent and rinse aid during the dishwashing cycle. We would recommend checking the lid for any damage. If this is not the issue, you may need to replace the dispenser actuator, part number PS8697165. It is the actuator motor for detergent and rinse aid. We hope this solves your problem!
My rinse aid latch does not seem to close tight and the rinse aid drains out and runs down the door. Can I just replace the cover on the rinse aid or do I have to replace the whole unit.
For model number SHU43C06UC/17
Hello Lillian, Thank you for contacting us. We have researched the model you have provided and have found the part you are looking for is PartSelect Number PS8697157. If you need help placing an order, customer service is open 7 days a week. Please feel free to give us a call. We look forward to hearing from you!

When set on “heavy” and “extra shine”, dishwasher stops at two hours into the cycle and displays “E-22” water flow”. Problem?
Hello Joe, thank you for your inquiry. If your Bosch dishwasher displays the E22 error code, that means the filter is blocked or clogged, and water cannot correctly drain out of the machine like it's supposed to. This error is usually caused by a clogged or calcium buildup in the drain filter. If you need help placing an order, customer service is open 7 days a week. Please feel free to give us a call. We look forward to hearing from you.
