Ice maker wore out.
I installed the new 3 wire ice maker very easily, but it was defective. I was told that instructions for the return of the defective part would be sent later due to the virus. I have never received the return instruction. I did receive a credit for the defective part. VERY Satisfied with y’all’s service. Waiting for return i

How do i know which connector i have on my ice maker assembly, part aeq73110206. The adapter is small with twenty wire inputs all close together. Which is the proper replacement part number to order?
For model number LFX31945ST / 06
Hi Kendall, thank you for your question. According to your model number this is not the correct part. I have linked the correct part down below for you. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.
My ice maker has to be replaced, but there's no sticker anywhere with the model number. I was told that it's an aeq73110203. If that's True, are there any other models that will compare, such as the aeq73110206? Thanks.

Can I get an ice bin replaced? The ice maker is fine but the plastic parts on the bin have cracked.
For model number 79571053014
Hello Pamela, Thank you for your inquiry. We show the compatible ice bin assembly as part# PS12714719. We hope this helps.
I’m not sure if the previous ice maker had 3 or 6 wire. I got it used and the I've maker was missing. How can I tell? Thanks
For model number LFX25973D
Hello Adam, thank you for your question. The original part number should be printed on the back of the ice maker. The Ice Maker assembly - 6 wire is part AEQ73110205 and the 3 wire icemaker is AEQ73110203. We hope this helps.

Ice maker makes ice but does not dump it into bin. It starts to revolve then stops and goes back. I have already replaced this one already about 2 years ago

Hi Bill, thank you for reaching out. Based on the description you have provided, we would suggest checking the auger motor, part number PS12080202. It turns the auger that pushes the ice cubes through the dispenser chute. You may need to replace it to fix the issue. We hope this sorts out your problem!
My ice machine quit working. I pulled The refrigerator away from the wall, unplugged it, plucked it back in, and replaced the refrigerator. The icemaker started, made a few cubes of ice, and stopped. Could not get it restarted.I replaced the icemaker unit. Still have the same problem. It runs for a little while, makes a few ice cubes, then shuts off andcan't get it started again. I can pull the Refrigerator away from the wall, unplug it, plug it back in, and push the machine back in place, and then the ice machine does the same thing again. It makes a few ice cubes, then stops, and will not start again.

Hello Jim, thank you for the inquiry. This could be an indication the water valve is faulty and not sending water to the ice maker properly or the water filter is clogged. We suggest changing the filter every 6 months. We hope this helps, good luck with the repair!
After replacing the ice make with a new one, I don’t see the ice trays filling with water. Water is on and I did fill a glass to make sure I had flow to the refrigerator. What could cause this to happen ?
