Is the non-stick metal pan necessary for convection baking?

Can i speed cook without the metal tray?

If the metal tray sits on the glass turntable, why are they specific to a certain model no? Can i use my own metal tray instead?

We bought a travel supreme select and it does not have a black metal tray. I am ordering one is this the correct one. How long will it take to get it. We are camping in colorado.

Hello. Is the black metal tray absolutely necessary for my model above. We moved into a new home and they old owners took the metal pan and left us without it! I was reading some of the other comments and i saw one comment to a man named “william” and he was told the black tray was not necessary as long as you use a tray that is microwave safe would a bowl or cookie sheet that is oven safe be suitable. Ty. If u have any suggestions i’d really appreciate it. Ty
