This orifice converts your natural gas dryer to operate on liquid propane. This conversion kit is installed in the gas supply system, regulating the flow of gas into the burner, allowing the dryer to heat up and dry your clothes. Orifices naturally degrade with use. You will notice that the orifice has failed or corroded when your dryer fails to properly heat or dry clothes or when yellow flames or plumes of unburnt gas exit the dryer vent.
