Over range microwave vent grille fell off. No clips attached.
Ordered new grille in hopes it would have clips attached as none were on old grille. Kept my fingers crossed that new grille would just snap back on. It did. No tools required.

Vent clips were broken
Read the instructions that came with the parts. Looked at the parts and placement. It was easy to see where everything went.
With new replacement grill, a separate clip was supplied in the box that had to be screwed in to the top portion. This clip did not fit since the hole for the screw was on the right side and not the left, so I just snapped the grill in place with the existing clips. The vent grille that sits above the microwave started coming off. Upon inspection, one of the clips had broken.
When we received the vent grille, my husband popped it back on within 5 seconds . . . it was that easy! It took more time to get the part out of the shipped box than it took to put it on. Make sure you get the correct part and color, though. I didn't get the correct color and had to ship it back (my fault so I had to pay the shipping c

The grill-vent broke and the grease filters needed to be replaced.
I simply placed the grill-vent in hood area, pulled out the dirty grease filters and slid in the replacement ones.

You show the grill in black, the one i am replacing is silver in color. Is this the same part just in a different color. My serial number is trt4857604 and it says my microwave was manufactured in november 2006. I just want to make sure that i am ordering the correct part.
