Thank you for getting back to us. Whirlpool part number 385835 (our part number PS334663) is a 4 inch hose connector with clamps. Whirlpool part number DRNEXT4 (our part number PS3496978) is the extension hose plus the 4 inch hose connector with clamps. I hope this helps.

Does this drain hose extension fit on to my new Amana washer, the drain hose supplied with the washer is too short by approx. 6 inches? Thank you for your response. Whirlpool sent me a # 40922 drain hose extension kit which doesn't fit my unit.

I would prefer a one piece hose longer than the 6’ hose that came with the washer instead of the 4’ extension you have on the parts page. An 8’ hose would be perfect, but I can use a longer hose if available. If you don’t have a longer hose, what standard hose will do the job?

Hello Tina, Thank you for your inquiry. This error code means your washer is not detecting the correct amount of incoming water. First check the fill hoses to make sure they are not clogged or kinked. Next check the water inlet valves for any clogs, and you can test both valves and the water level pressure switch with a multimeter to see if they are faulty. Good luck with your repair.
