The Module Shelf Insert is a complete assembly for the module shelf. This repair is rated as "Easy" by users. Clear shelf insert badly cracked in GE refrigerator
We just bought a new home and found that one of the clear shelf inserts in a door shelf was pretty much trashed. I was very pleased to be able to find this part at this site . Instead of having to replace the entire shelf I could just put in this part. My only comment is that this clear part is rather difficult to get into the white plast

I am double checking to make sure part number wr71x10761 fits this fridge. If so i would like to order this as long it is also clear so it matches the rest of them.

The shelf is the solid long one that goes across the refrigerator. It is not the adjustable short shelves or the bottom one that holds the vegetable and fruit bin. In the newer model a salesperson at best buy showed me that the glass is in two parts, but mine is a solid piece.

Hello Susan, thank you for writing back. The only piece of glass that fits that description on your model is the Vegetable Pan Glass part number PS8758539, which is the one above the crisper drawers. Other than that, there are only the two side by side shelves that may look as one wide shelf. Those individual shelves are part number PS8758544 and the glass in them is not shown as removable.

My glass shelves have liquid from food in them on the sides and down the middle where the white supports are. I cannot figure out how to remove the glass to clean it. The glass seems to be one solid piece.

I am so sorry you are right. It is the solid piece above the crisper drawers. Does it need to be replaced or can it be removed and cleaned? I took the shelf out but can not take it apart. What option do i have? I would be surprised if it can't be taken apart to be cleaned.

Hello Susan, thank you for writing back. That piece of glass is the Vegetable Pan Glass part number PS8758539 and can be removed to be cleaned or replaced entirely. It just sits inside the opening at the top of the Frame, so you should be able to just push it gently up from underneath the Frame to remove it. I hope this helps and good luck!
