Sample Model Number Tags
Model numbers can be made up of numbers (1005400, for example) or a combination of letters and numbers (LAT1000AAE). The model number will most likely appear on either a paper sticker or a metal plate. Your appliance's model number tag may look similar to the sample model number tags shown here (model number highlighted in yellow):
The lower dishrack is used to hold the dishes in place during the operation of the cycles. The lower rack measures 5.963” high x 20.46” wide x 22.39” in length. The manufacturer has made some updates to the lower rack, it no longer includes a shelf rack and now has 6 wheels rather than 8. This is a genuine OEM part. NOTE: Per factory, this substituted part only has 6 wheels instead of 8 and NO longer comes with shelf rack.
How Buying OEM Parts Can Save You Time and Money
Why buy the real thing?
OEM stands for Original Equipment Manufacturer. Simply put, this means that the company who made your appliance is also supplying the replacement part for it.

Works!
The part is different than the original but fits perfectly. The old one had some tines that could be moved up and down and a shelf that could be flipped down if you wanted to stack cups etc. I honestly don’t missed them. You need to move the tower from the old one to the new one but that was a piece of cake. It arrived in the time frame expected.

The lower rack was losing all the little spokes. They were breaking off and rust developed.
We twisted the tower counter clockwise to remove from the old rack. It was a bit tight but came off quickly. Then inserting the tower into the new rack went very smoothly. That's all there was to it. The new rack did not have a place where I could attach the flip down shelf, but I rarely used it anyway. Love partselect. They helped

Stained upper and lower dishwasher racks.
Pretty easy. Lower rack, simple. Upper rack took some time to figure out how to remove the plastic rack stops. After that just removed old rack then installed new rack and reattached the stops. Reason for replacing racks, with the door closed, there was a back wash from an ailing garbage disposal into the dishwasher which was left in ther
... Read moree for awhile. It stained the racks beyond repair. I replaced the disposal along with under sink drain pipes, which were rotten, with plastic piping. DIY and save a lot of money.
Racks were old and had many pieces rusted and broken off
Top rack locking caps removed and replacement rack slid right in. Bottom rack slightly more difficult as I had to figure out how to remove spray tower from old rack. Used flat screwdriver to pry gently up on locking tabs and twisted to remove. Pushed down and twisted opposite way until engaged locking tabs.
Needed to replace original dish rack which was severely rusted
Dish rack not same as original. No raised section on right for drop down ledge. Also the old rack had a section for wide rim bowls. New one is for plates only. Otherwise it is OK

The covering on parts of the rack deteriorated from use and rusted the supports.
I read the instructions given in one of your emails that said that to take off the center spray contraption, just turn to the right. To replace it on the new rack, put in place and turn to the left put the rack back in place in the dishwasher. It took less than 5 minutes after removing from the dishwasher.

Outer material on rack wearing out causing rust on plates.
Took old rack out and put the new one in. The only problem was that I expected the rack to come with the central spray tower attached. It did not come with the tower at all. I had to detach the old tower and reattach it to the new rack. I didn't know how to do that. There were no instructions. However, after working with it for awhile I w

I purchased the bottom rack. To replace old one. How do i removed the old lower spray tower and install on new rack?
For model number MDB9150AWW
Hello George, Thank you for your inquiry. Turn the tower 30 degrees counter clockwise to remove and carefully pull it off the rack. Re-install on the new rack in reverse. When reinstalling new one there are two holes on the side of the tower body that must face the front of the rack when installed. Good Luck with your repair!

I just received the bottom rack that i had ordered for my dishwasher. I see that i will need to remove the center sprayer from the old one to put on the new one. Any suggestions on how to do that fairly easy?
For model number MDB6100AWB
Hi Candy, Thank you for the question. The spray arm just snaps on and off. You shoudl be able to tilt it to one side and pop it off the old rack. Hope this helps!
