Sample Model Number Tags
Model numbers can be made up of numbers (1005400, for example) or a combination of letters and numbers (LAT1000AAE). The model number will most likely appear on either a paper sticker or a metal plate. Your appliance's model number tag may look similar to the sample model number tags shown here (model number highlighted in yellow):
This is a replacement sensor assembly for your washer. It may also be known as a motor rotor position sensor. The sensor assembly monitors the direction and speed of the spinning rotor and communicates this information to the electronic control board. If your washer pumps but will not spin or agitate, you may have a damaged sensor assembly. This part is sold individually, and is an OEM part sourced directly from the manufacturer. Be sure to shut off the power to your washer before you begin this repair.
How Buying OEM Parts Can Save You Time and Money

Solved rotation issue
This part was the charm.
We had to replace our main control board. But even then we had no rotation of the drum.
After reading reviews we ordered this part too. I’m happy to report that this part finished the repair!

"Le" Fail Code on digital display ... Washer would not agitate and made an odd noise.
I first thought there was a mechanical problem but after checking everything mechanical I discounted that idea ... I researched and found out from others with a similar problem that the Le code display was probably a sensor problem ... I ordered a replacement sensor ... With the new sensor available, I removed the access panel to the back

Loosen the motor stator that has the wired coils (10mm socket - 6 bolts) ... Hold motor unit to the side without disconnecting the wiring harness ... Disconnect the sensor wire connector and remove the old sensor ... Clip the new sensor in place (same position as the old one) and re-connect ... Reverse the assembly procedures ... This fixed the problem and the washing machine works like a new one ... The wife is HAPPY!

LE Error Message and won't spin drum properly
I first tested the motor per the service manual. I checked the resistance between the terminals of the 3 pin connector. It's supposed to be 5-15 ohms. The motor checked out so I replaced the main electrical board. It turns out that wasn't the problem. After a brief web search I found out that the hall sensor (which is attached to the
... Read more motor stator) was the likely cause of the failure. I replaced that and everything works great now. And now I have a spare main board in case that ever fails. I also want to mention that I took the time to remove the dispenser box (where the water comes in and is directed to the different cleaning products) and cleaned it with a very strong bleach solution. It got rid of the mildew and funky smell. It seems that the fabric softener caused a lot of mildew to form inside the dispenser directly above the fabric softener tray. The bleach took care of that. This is probably something that should be done routinely to keep the mildew from forming.

What i should do o change for a LG washer "de" Error code
For model number WM3470HVA
Hi Lina, thank you for your inquiry. According to our research, the "dE" error code on your LG washer indicates that the washer door was unable to lock. To fix this error code, we would recommend to turn the machine off by pressing the power button and unplug your machine and restart it again. Next, press and hold the Start/Pause button for 5 seconds. If that does not work, you may need to check the door lock assembly, part number PS3533609, to help fix this issue. We hope this information helps!
Please confirm this is the hall stator assembly for my model washing machine.
For model number WM3170CW
Hello Matthew, Thank you for the question. The Sensor for this model is only sold as part of the Washer Motor Stator. The Sensor is not sold on its own. We hope this helps, good luck with the repair!
Unit does not power on, CB checked, power at the receptacle
For model number WM377OHWA
Hello Jim, thank you for contacting us. Based on the description that you have provided, we would recommend checking the noise filter, part number PS11710201, and the power cord, part number PS12079896. If the issue still occurs, you may need to check the display board, part number PS12080523. We hope this solves your problem!
When coming to the spin cycle, the washer stops and displays the LE code. I’ve tried the “unplug/press and hold start button/replug” reset but still persists.
I’ve been able to finish the spin cycle by restarting and running on speed cycle setting. My research diagnosis would tell me that it’s the Hall sensor at fault. Is this likely correct ? And if so, which part should I be ordering? Thanks!
For model number WM2701H
Hi Randy, thank you for reaching out. An LE error code indicates that the motor is locked, possibly due to a heavy wash load. Since you have already reset the washer, we recommend checking to replace the rotor position sensor switch, part number PS16556422. We hope this solves your issue!

Will part #6501kw2002a changed to #6501kw2002B fit my front load lg washer.
For model number WM3370HWA
Hello Denise, thank you for the query. According to our research, the sensor assembly does not come separately. You may need to buy the stator assembly, part number PS3635512. We hope this helps!
Based on testing i found that the hall sensor needed to be replaced. Replaced sensor and harness. Still getting the LE error when testing using light load. Should mention water is not connected during testing
For model number WM8000HVA
Hi Donald, thank you for reaching out. An LE error code is displayed when the tub fails to spin. The error code indicates that the motor can not operate properly. As you have already replaced the hall sensor, the issue might be with the circulation pump, part number PS3652448. You may need to replace it to fix the issue. We hope this solves your problem!
