No water getting to the dishwasher
Researched what others have posted about on Parts select. That really helped with the diagnosis! Took a chance on a $28 part. Repairman was going to charge $150 just to show up, then diagnose, leave for 2 months while waiting for the part, charge another $150 plus the part to fix… Just had to pull out dishwasher far enough to take th

I replace the kickpaner a couple of hours later. Check to make sure there were now leaks.

Why does this part fail so often, I have replaced it twice.
For model number gdt6555smjoes
Hello Daniel, thank you for your question. I may be due to needing to clean your inlet valve and screen which easily becomes clogged with massive water deposits, dirt, and debris. Or, since the Valve is controlled by the Electronic Control PS16762510, it may be an electrical surge. If you need help placing an order, customer service is open 7 days a week. Please feel free to give us a call. We look forward to hearing from you.

For model number GDF520pgjoww
Hi Albert,
Thank you for your question. If your dishwasher fills and then drains, there may be an issue with the pump or the impeller inside it. You should also check to see if the holes in the spray arms are blocked and check if the water inlet valve is working properly. Once you have determined the part you need, please call customer service. We look forward to hearing from you!

This dishwasher is not filling with water upon start cycle. The timer and drain pump cycle all come on as if the cycle is running. We see some steam but no water coming out or in bottom of dishwasher. I’ve read it could be water inlet valve, float switch, or something else. What process and order do you recommend for eliminating the various causes?
For model number GDF610PGJ2BB
Hello Stephen, thank you for contacting us. Based on the description that you have provided, the issue is most probably with the flood switch, part number PS8690623. It controls the hot and cold water filling the tub to ensure the proper amount of water. We would recommend replacing it to fix the issue. We hope this solves your problem!
What voltage doe the water valve solenoid operate on. I don’t have the original. The replacement valve in the pictures on your web site has a sticker that says 13.5VDC
For model number ADT521PGF0BS
Hi Randy, thank you for the question. The compatible water valve assembly, part number PS6011659, for your model would receive 13.5 Volts DC from the main control. We hope that helps!
Turn dishwasher on noise while filling and washing
For model number GDT605PSM0SS
Hello Willie, thank you for reaching out. Based on our understanding of the issue, we would suggest replacing the water inlet valve, part number PS12743161, to solve the problem. Glad to be of help!

why does water flow out the bottom of washer when i hit the start button
For model number GDF630 psmoss
Hello Brian, thank you for reaching out. Based on the description that you have provided, we would recommend making sure that the drain hose is properly connected and not damaged. If the problem persists, then you may need to check the drain pump, part number PS12582714, to solve the problem. A malfunctioning drain pump can most probably cause this issue. We hope this helps!
