My part came, with no instructions for installation. There are plastic pieces and a fan-shaped water dispenser underneath that need to be moved from the old part to the new part. Our house was purchased "used" so we have no manuals or know how to do this. Nothing ever mentioned that we would need to tear apart our existing shelf and reuse half the peices.

The vinyl coating on one post on the upper dishwasher rack was damaged, which made the post start to rust rapidly.
The new rack arrived nearly ready to install. The brackets and wheels that connect the rack to the track in the dishwasher were already on the new rack when it was delivered. All I had to do was move some plastic parts from the old rack to the new rack. This is very easy and does not require any tools since the parts snap onto the racks.
... Read moreIt's worth taking a moment to study the way each part is attached to the old rack before moving it to the new rack. Pay particular attention to exactly how & where the spray arm tube snaps to the rack. That tube took me two tries to get right. The whole operation took less than 15 minutes.

Replace top rack
Removed old rack and several accessory pieces, and installed them on the new rack. Slid the new rack back in. Took about 15-20 minutes top. Very easy to do.

The middle rack was rusting and some of the pegs were coming off.
Removed the spray arm, front handle, and little clips from the old rack and installed onto the new rack. Was very simple.

Hello Peter, thank you for reaching out. Parts locations vary according to the full model. Model SHE68T55UC (09) has an upper dishrack on location 640 and on model SHE68T55UC (01) upper dishrack is on location 604. The upper dishrack includes two tines. We hope this information helps!

own a SHPM78Z55N/20 The middle rack has two circle hook like doohickeys that go on the sides but i cant find it in the diagrams. i have pics. Bosch was no help and they say place a 160 dollar service call. I think it stops the racks from coming off the rails.

Hi, Bosch 5 year old dishwasher, upper rack, the fold down tines are rusted. They appear to be able to snap out and be replaced, but from what I on the website, the entire upper rack needs to be replaced instead of parts 607 or 618. Plz advise..
