How Buying OEM Parts Can Save You Time and Money
Why buy the real thing?
OEM stands for Original Equipment Manufacturer. Simply put, this means that the company who made your appliance is also supplying the replacement part for it.

Install!
I was very skeptical about the seal that came from "Parts Select" But we went on your tube & watched the suggested video. Low & Behold after a trail & error we aced it. When you are installing you have to stretch a little to keep it taunt so the seal will go in to the round corners easier. .So far so good , much much cheaper than to hire a plumber!! Thanks Parts Select:)

Water leaking at the door during the wash cycle
The rubber door seal was easy after watching the video. I key point however is that you do have to stretch the seal just a little bit. The video says not to. If you don't like I didn't originally, the seal will only extend from one side to the other without about an inch excess that folds on the bottom of each side. The door still lea

The lower door seal was ok to do. The most important step there is to remember how the front door panel is installed. Taking pictures before and during removal may help. It is awkward to do by yourself, but can be done. I found that putting a balled-up towel at the top of the door helps when trying to reinstall the front panel.
Door seal leaking because items from silverware basket damaged the seal while sliding the bottom tray back into the dishwasher.
Gently pull the old door seal out of it's track observing the orientation of the seal and the amount of extra seal at the ends of the seal grove/track.. Start installing the seal on one side leaving about the same amount of extra seal as original seal before removal. Be sure the seals orientation is the same as the seal that was

The corners will be a little tricky, but carefully press and seat the new door seal all the way around. There should be a little extra seal after you get to the end of the grove/track. Good luck, the new door seal solved my water leak.

Water leaking from out the bottom of door.
Watched the video provided by this site on changing a dishwasher door seal and then replaced my seal as per video. Very simple task. PartSelect Scammers
PartSelect intentionally shipped obsolete part that could not possibly fit a dishwasher. The part looked to be a rectangle door seal for a freezer/ref. You make it impossible to return the part. Water leaking around door and latch mechanisim seems to have failed
Still not sure it is repaired. Still have water leakage around upper edge of door on control data panel. Dishwasher door leaking
Pull the old seal out and push the new seal in. Done. Easy. The only issue is the door is still leaking and I have to replace the seal and the plate that goes across the bottom of the door.

The door gasket leaked water at the bottom of the door, No visible gasket damage.
I removed and reinstalled the new gasket per the video instructions, but I found the corners to be much harder to install than indicated. I finally used a large, flat, dull screwdriver to carefully push the gasket all the way in, and used my fingers to feel whether the gasket was all the way in. I figured if the gasket wasn't all the way

Perhaps I didn't need a new gasket? There was no visible damage. Pushing in the corners of the original gasket may have fixed it, but the new gasket worked perfectly! Thanks, Part Select!!

Water is leaking from under the door; it appears to be an issue at one of the ends of the door seal gasket, but I'm not sure if it is the gasket itself, or how the bottom of door seal piece is setting. On one side the door seal looks to be sitting onto the gasket as the door is closed, on the other side it pushes the gasket end back, slightly into the dishwasher. I'm pretty certain one of these is wrong, but I can't tell which one.
For model number WDT750SAHZ0
Hello David, thank you for your question. The door should close on the gasket to create a seal. We hope this helps!

I ordered and replaced the PS 12348515 Gasket. I was stlil leaking about 6 oz of water from the lower rt corner. I opened and looked at the lower corners or the Inner seal and noticed that the left corner ended up, length wise at the exact end of the door opening. On the right lower side the gasket is actually about 1" or more too long so it is folded over backward at a 45 degree angle. The seal did not appear to be well seated so I did re-seat the seal. Would it make sense to trim off the excess inner gasket so it does not go past the end of the door opening, below the seal interface with the Door seal PS 11766757
For model number 66514545N710
Hi Floyd, thank you for your inquiry. According to our research, the gasket is compatible with your model, so it should fit in the place without any hesitation. We have attached a video that could help you with applying the door gasket. If the gasket still folds backwards, you can trim the excess gasket but it is not recommended. We hope this solves your problem!

Does this Kenmore Dishwasher require any sealant on the inner seal That I replaced?

Hello Floyd, thank you for your question. There is no adhesive necessary for this repair. After putting in the new gasket PS12348515, closing the door creates the seal. We have an installation video for you to access to see if this is a repair for you. We look forward to hearing from you soon.
