Sample Model Number Tags
Model numbers can be made up of numbers (1005400, for example) or a combination of letters and numbers (LAT1000AAE). The model number will most likely appear on either a paper sticker or a metal plate. Your appliance's model number tag may look similar to the sample model number tags shown here (model number highlighted in yellow):
This is a door seal that is compatible with various models of dryer. This door seal, also known as a door gasket or door boot, is designed to seal the interior of the dryer from your home, to keep hot air in and cold air out. Over time and with further use, this seal may become worn down, and if you have noticed warm or even hot air leaking from the interior of your dryer while it is in operation, this seal is likely in need of replacing. This seal is an OEM part and does not come with any other parts or accessories, such as the necessary adhesive to seal this to the door frame of your dryer.
How Buying OEM Parts Can Save You Time and Money
Why buy the real thing?
OEM stands for Original Equipment Manufacturer. Simply put, this means that the company who made your appliance is also supplying the replacement part for it.

Needs adhesive
The part fit perfectly and seems to be at least as good quality if not better than the original. It would have been nice to know that it requires an adhesive that doesn’t come with the gasket.I used an epoxy, so I hope I never have to change it again.
