How Buying OEM Parts Can Save You Time and Money
Why buy the real thing?

Do it yourself job
The refrigerator door gaskets we ordered came very fast and were exactly the ones we needed. The installation was very simple and easy .We removed them from the box, warmed them slightly with a blow dryer so as to soften the packaging wrinkles and to make them more pliable we then removed the old ones and pushed the new gaskets into their proper slot . The job literally took 5 minutes. We also watched a video of the install online . Great place to order replacement parts.

Replace worn door gaskets
Viewed easy online instruction video. Laid gaskets on flat surface and warmed with hair dryer until they were smooth and unwrinkled. Starting at the top I pulled off the old gasket and beginning at the top I snapped in the new gasket. Carefully smooth as you go. I'm a 72 year old women and if I can do it, you can do it!

Torn gaskets
Laid out new gaskets in sunlight to make them pliable. Removed old gasket by gently pulling them out of the channels around the door. I then did the reverse with the new gaskets. Starting at the top I pushed the new gasket into the channel, moving in one direction around the door. Make sure the outer lip of the gasket does not fold under

Repair was very easy. I followed the instruction provided by this site for mullion rail. The door gaskets were a simple push fit. but needed the use of a hair drier to remove crimps in the rubber. Overall excellent. The refrigerator is working and cooling well.

The right door gasket was cracked in two or more places and probably leaked.
I watched the Part Select demonstration for removing and replacing the door gasket. It looked easy and was easier and faster than the demo. The toughest part was getting the wrinkles out of the new door seal.

Replacement gasket extremely easy to install. Used hair dryer to soften and straighten out “kinks” in replacement gasket. Pulled old gasket out of groove in refrigerator door. Lined up corners of new gasket and pressed into place with my fingers. Went in exactly as video showed.
