the spark igniters would continue to spark after the burners were lit
Since the problem would only occur when the right front burner was on, I first replaced the ignitor, but the problem persisted. To replace the spark module I had to pull the range out of the nook it is in in the counter top. Then (after ensuring that the power was off) I removed the back cover. The spark module was easily located and rem

Burners kept clicking after ignited
This problem was driving me crazy for months. Of course, after I bought and installed the part and it still was not fixed I finally found a website that told me how to fix the clicking. The problem is that the removable head burners (#8 on the top assembly diagram) are not making good electrical contact with the base burners (#22). What I
... Read more did was grab the head burners and grind them back and forth into the base burners with the weight on the heal of my hand. Steel wool or sandpaper would work too--you just want to clean the surfaces to restore electrical contact. If you still want to know how to replace the spark module start by removing #24. This will allow the removal of #9 (after you take the knobs off). You may have to do some fiddling cause the rubber gasket is sticky. Next there are 2 obvious regular screws for #14 and 2 not so obvious star screws in the space where the burner valves are. After #14 is off there are 2 screws on the spark module to be removed and one that you can't loosen that is in a slot. You wriggle the module out of that one.

My stove top works fine. The oven will not stay on. It turns on, gets hot and appears to run for an indefinite period. Of time. Then it just turns off. No message or warning. Also, maybe related, the warming drawer light comes on the display panel when we use the down draft blower. We have no warming drawer. Any ideas what may be wrong, and what part we should buy to fix it?
For model number JGS9900BDF
Hello Norvin, Thank you for your inquiry. We would recommend checking the following parts to fix your issue: the oven ignitor, the bake/broil igniter, the safety valve, the regulator, and the electric control board. Hope this helps!

My oven when put on bake heats up slowly to 165 deg. It stalls out at 165 and doesn't get any hotter. The broiler works fine and so do the top burners. What do you recommend as a fix. Thanks
For model number JGS9900CDS00
Hello Brad, thank you for inquiring. For this symptom you will want to replace either the Short Oven Sensor Kit part PS2003225, the Bake Igniter part PS11744546, or the Door Gasket part PS11749287. We hope this helps.

When attempting to light the front right burner, the electrode will only spark one time. I have already replaced the electrode. Is the issue likely the spark module? Also, how do I remove the glass top?
For model number KGCD807XSS02
Hi Sean,
Thank you for your question. If you have just replaced the electrode and the burner will still not light, the problem could with the spark module or the cooktop igniter. We hope this helps! Good luck with the repair!
Right front burner trips main breaker every 3-4 weeks.
For model number Jgcp648adp
Hello Peter, thank you for your question. Your breaker might be tripping because your stove has damaged wiring, a bad terminal block, or one or more problematic burner switches. It’s also possible that your stove is fine but your breaker is undersized to work well with that particular model or just weak and requires replacement. We hope this helps.
