easy repair, part worked great.
Part was an exact replacement, all I had to do was change the wiring harness, which took about 20 seconds, and it was making ice in no time. Shipping was prompt and they had the part, even when the factory didn't have it.

Ice maker stopped working
Ordered the part from parts selection and when it arrived I unpluged my refrigerator and removed the ice bucket to get to the ice maker. I than looked at what needed to do to remove the icemaker. The ice maker had a internal brownish leak substance. This in turn dripped on the ice in the tray, which froze the ice cubes in a ball which would not let the ice to be ejected from the dispenser, and in turn cracked the tray which holds the ice cubes, so I had to replace the tray and ice maker.
On a side by side refer, you need both doors open to unscrew the three 1/4 inch screws, 1. Remove the ice tray 2.the ice arm needs to be in the up position, so no water will flow while dissembling. 3. Remove the two top screws, 4. While holding the ice maker with o e hand, remove the bottom screw. Balance t

I did not unplug the refer from the wall socket, you may want to do this. It recommended but I did not. There you go.

How do you restart the icemaker?
Hello Errol, that is a great question. You can reset it by unplugging the fridge for a few minutes, this will reset the ice maker control board. Allow 24 hours for it to make ice after that. Hope this helps!

I have a Maytag refrigerator with ice maker model w10300022. How do i adjust the fill level on the ice maker?
For model number W10300022
Hi John,
Thank you for your question. You will have to pop off the white motor cover on your ice maker. On the right hand side while looking at the motor, you will see a small white plastic screw. Turning it clockwise would decrease the water level and counter clock wise would increase the water level. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

When the ice maker fills up the water keeps running and runs over into the ice tray and i end up with big frozen chunks of ice in the tray that i end up throwing away in the sink. What is the reason for the water not shutting off like it's supposed too.Thank you
For model number WRS322FDAM04
Hello Gary, thank you for your question. The first part we would suggest testing/replacing is the water valve. The water valve brings water to the ice maker and may not be shutting off which would allow water to continue to flow into the icemaker. The part number for the valve is PS11749668. Here is a link that can help you test that part.

My ice maker stopped making ice. Is this repairable or needs reset? About how much to repair. Thank you
For model number MSD2576VEM00
Hi Gary,
Thank you for your question. It could be your ice maker. I would also suggest just taking a quick multi meter test of your water inlet valve as well. That part has two solenoids and one is for the ice maker specifically. So it never hurts to check that part just in case. If your valve is fine then you would need to replace your ice maker. The price of the ice maker is above in the part information for you. Good luck with your repair.

Hello Bill, Thank you for your inquiry. It could be an issue with either part. We have included a link to our video on how to test the water inlet valve with a multimeter and how to test the ice maker. We hope this helps and if you need help placing an order for a part, customer service is open 7 days a week. Please feel free to give us a call. We look forward to hearing from you!

My ice maker will no quit dispensing ice i've unplugged the wire inside freezer compartment to stop motor from running. What control board do i need ?
For model number MSD2274VEM00
Hi Charles,
Thank you for your question. You would have to likely replace your ice maker. It is the ice maker bail arm that connects to the control in the ice maker and lets it know when and when not to make ice. So if your arm is fine then it is the control in the ice maker you need to replace. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

I think the heating element on the ice maker isn't working, the arms are having a hard time pushing the ice out of the mold. And it take for ever to fill the bucket. Can i just buy the heating element? Or is it time to buy a new ice maker?
For model number asd2575brwo1
Hi Kenneth,
Thank you for your question. You can purchase the ice mold and heater assembly separately from the ice maker. The part number listed under your model number for the ice mold and heater assembly is PS11752392. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!
