Easy fix
Part came quickly and well packaged. Installation was easy except you really need to people to pull the double oven out. Don’t try it alone. Aside from that it was an easy job!

Perfect replacement and it was easy to install.
I had 2 oven cooling fans in our Kitchenaid double oven that were bad. One made a lot of noise and the other was frozen. The ovens are 15 years old and I debated replacing them. But, the fans cost about 4300 for the 2 of them. But, a new one of the same quality was about $3000. So, I decided to replace the fans. The arrived on time and they are exactly like the originals. I installed them and the ovens work like they were new.

The original blower squirrel cage failed out balance.
Safety first , I shut off the circuit breaker . I removed the racks from inside the wall oven . I installed the adhesive backed foam strip that is a vibration dampener and reassembled in reverse order.Once the over was returned to its original position in the wall mounting I turned the breakers back on and tested the oven ...AAAAAAAAA++++++++++++ To be fair i must admit that I am not a novice at this 15 years of my working career revolved around HVAC and appliance repair ,still however a novice that is mechanically inclined can perform the same task in about 70 to 80 minutes as opposed to my 35 . That is all there is to it.

Looking for blower motor for lower oven below microwave, purchased in 2003, is w10016550 the correct replacement, when oven blower is running it runs much louder than it should, i assume bearing noise? What do you think?
For model number kehc309jss05
Hi Kevin,
Thank you for your question. Yes, this is the blower motor for your appliance. If it is running loudly, there could be something loose in side it causing the noise and it would need to be replaced. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!
