Sample Model Number Tags
Model numbers can be made up of numbers (1005400, for example) or a combination of letters and numbers (LAT1000AAE). The model number will most likely appear on either a paper sticker or a metal plate. Your appliance's model number tag may look similar to the sample model number tags shown here (model number highlighted in yellow):
This is a speed lamp clip, and may also be known as the water line spring clamp. It is used in conjunction with your refrigerator. If you have a leak at your fill tub, this part may be the reason. The function of this clip is to keep the fill tube and the water line connected. This will allow water to flow freely without leakage into your water/ice dispensers. This part is quite small, with less than a half-inch in outer diameter. The clip is an off-black, almost olive color, and is rounded.

I am looking for answers to the leak i have in my KitchenAid 5th wheel rv residential refrigerator. I have not found an instruction manual to help me with my issue. The icemaker has begun to form a single icicle coming from the front right of the ice tray. water also will fall into the ice tub and freeze. once the lever is pushed up to turn off the ice maker, no more water leaks out.
how do i fix this and what part(s) do i need. and can i get an "installation" manual somehow?
thank you
angela
For model number KBFS20ECMS
Hi Angela,
Thank you for your question. Here is a link to website where you may view the owner's manual for your refrigerator, https://www.manualslib.com/products/Kitchenaid-Kbfs20ecms-3693372.html. If there is awater leaking from your refrigerator, there are some parts that you will need to check to see which ones are causing the issue. You will need to check the p-trap drain tube, the water tube connector, the speed clamp clip, the elbow fill tube, the water filter, the water inlet valve and the micro switch. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!
