The door handle was cracked and eventually broke off.
Ordered the part. When it came we needed to find the correct screwdriver because the screw did not work with philips head screwdriver. We used slotted even though it wasn't that type of screw. It worked just fine and installed very easily. It worked great.

The door handle to my washer had broken off.
I used a screwdriver to unscrew and remove the broken handle and replaced it with a new handle. The new handle was exactly the same type handle that the washer had originally. It took less than five minutes.

The plastic handel broke, but the screws that held it in place doesn't seem to be either a phillips nor a slot head screw. What type of driver does it take to remove the screws?
For model number GHW9100LW2
Hi David,
Thank you for your question. From what I am seeing underneath your model information the screws are a torx 20 driver. Good luck with your repair.
