Sorry, we couldn't find any existing installation instruction that matched.
Had to reploace the control panel on our oven due to F1 error beeping code.
I loosened the bottom of the front panel by the door and then worked my fingers inside the opening behind the gas knob to pull off the control panel(touchpad membrane) and to replace it that way also.

Called the repairman who replaced the first "membrane" 3 years ago to determine how to remove the range top. He graciously related that all I had to do was remove the burners by turning them half a turn to the left and pull up, then disconnect the wires and lay the burners out in the order they were removed. Then remove the six screws holding the top to the burner elements and remove the top, rotating it from the back up. Remove the membrane from the front of the range by peeling the adhesive away, and disconnect the six prong connection, then reverse the procedure and you're done.
While you at it, clean all the burners and the range top throughly to impress your wife.

F1 error and beeping
This is for a flat top electric range. Pull the range out. The clips holding the top cover on can be released from each side of the top. Put the screw driver is the hole toward the front and lever forward. Pull the top up and back. Gently pry the membrane off of the front with the screwdriver. Reach into the open top and disconnect the connector between the membrane and the rest of the electronics. Clean the old glue off the front of the stove. Slip the new cable through the hole and reconnect. Remove the glue backing and press firmly onto the front of the stove. Squeeze the clips back into the base. Drop the cover back into position and push the stove back into place.
