No more leaks.
Part arrived as stated and in good condition. Thanks to u-tube for pointing me in the correct direction. The foam rubber seamed thin, but it did the job.

How to replace the door vent seal on my Whirlpool dishwasher
For model number gu940scgq0
Hello Karl, Thank you for the question. You can replace the Seal by removing the inside panel of the door and pulling and cleaning off the old seal and replacing with the new one. The vent assembly snaps out and will snap back into place. Thank you for your inquiry, good luck with this repair!

Will the this seal; cause it to leak under the door
For model number du945pwsqu
Hello Frank, thank you for your question. The two parts that, if worn or broken, can cause the door to leak are PartSelect Number: PS11755809 door seal and the door frame Part #: PS11747071 which includes the bottom seal. The part number you have referenced is just the door vent seal, and wouldn't cause the door to leak at the bottom. I hope this helps!
My dishwasher, Kenmore 665.15732000 leaks from the bottom of the front door. I took the nut off of the bottom spray assembly, and removed the spray arm. There was a plastic seal ring that had a split in it. I didn't know if the split was supposed to be in it, but my brother in law stapled it top and bottom to close the gap. That did not help. Water still coming from bottom of door. The long gasket that goes around door opening, top and sides appears to be okay. Is there a bottom door seal that i can't see that would cause this problem? Please help!
For model number 66515732000
Hello Beverly,
Thank you for your question. The seal that goes on the spray arm, is supposed to be split. It is not a defect, the manufacturer purposely makes it that way. There is not a specific bottom dear seal piece for your model 66515732000. If you have checked your door gasket and lower spray arm seal, we would recommend checking your Wash Arm Bearing ring under part number PS11747064. That is another type of seal on the spray arm that can cause your leak as well. We hope this helps you.

I have water leaking out the front left hand side of my dishwasher. Which part will stop this from happening?
For model number DU930PWSQ0
Hi Tiffany, Thank you for writing. If the Leak is coming from under the appliance, we suggest checking the Water Inlet Valve. We have provided a How to Video on how to access the valve on the appliance. We hope this helps!
