Does this connect to the ice guide that i also need to order that is part no. WP2180224. I already have the refrigerator ice door kit that is item no. W10823377. I just want to make sure all these separate parts will work together with my refrigerator. Thanks

When I replaced the water valve and the filter, there is still no water flowing down to ice maker What is the reason?

Hi Dai,
Thank you for your question. Once a new ice maker is installed, it can take 24 hours before it starts to make ice. Also, if you have just replaced the water filter as well, you may have to flush the water filter for the water to start flowing. To flush a water filter, use the following steps: 1 Use a sturdy container to depress and hold the water dispenser lever for 5 seconds and then release for 5 seconds.
2 Repeat the process until water starts to flow at a steady pass and all the air is out of the water line. You may discard up to 3 gallons of water during this process.
After flushing the water system, allow 24 hours for the refrigerator to cool and chill the water. Then, dispense enough water every week to maintain a fresh supply. If you have already done this, check the lines to see if they are clogged and frozen and if they are unthaw them. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

Need directions on installing Lever replacement for Ice Dispenser and Lever Replacement for Water Dispenser. Don't see any instructions or Video's to show how to replace.
Hello David, Thank you for the question. The Front Dispenser Cover will need to be replaced to access this Lever to replace. To remove the front cover of the dispenser assembly, pull out drip tray. At the bottom of the dispenser front there are 2 grooves. Insert a flat blade screwdriver into the left side and pull out on cover. This will pop the left side loose. Then slide the screwdriver under the other side and pop it loose. Lift up on the cover and it will come off. This will expose the Lever and you can remove and replace. We hope this helps!

When dispensing water after you are done it seems that black paddle does not shut off the flow of water entirely, then it messes up the ice maker.
