Model numbers can be made up of numbers (1005400, for example) or a combination of letters and numbers (LAT1000AAE). The model number will most likely appear on either a paper sticker or a metal plate. Your appliance's model number tag may look similar to the sample model number tags shown here (model number highlighted in yellow):
This white OEM dryer door handle is used to open and close the dryer's door. Comprised of plastic and 6-by-2-inches in dimension, the handle is sold individually and attaches to the dryer door. Your dryer door may need replacing if you've accidentally pulled too hard on the door handle in opening. This will be more likely to happen over time as the material weakens through frequent use. If your handle is broken, you may no longer be able to open or close your dryer door, depending on the position your handle broke in. You'll know you need to replace this part if the locking tab has broken off, causing the handle to continually fall out.

Handle on dryer door broke.
The part arrived in the mail. I used a pair of kitchen scissors to open the package. I removed the part from the plastic bag, and snapped it into place on the front of the dryer. Total time: 15 seconds.
I wish all my repairs were this easy.

The dryer handle broke.
When I ordered the part over the phone was told it just snaps in. Not sure what it meant. Parts delivery was prompt. Looked at the part and it’s pisition on the dryer.And it really was very simple.

Hi, i just ordered a part for my dryer. Part number on the broken handle is w10714516. The part number on the order receipt is ps11731583. Is this the same part?

Dryer was part of our new construction. Door handle fell off - how can i get a replacement handle - believe the part is under 10 year warranty?

I am not sure who sent it to you but all you would need to do is copy the link and paste it into the URL bar in your browser. That will generally take you to the video so that you can watch it. The handle on my dryer isn't broken, but it's coming loose in one upper corner. Can it be made secure again, or do i have to get a new handle? The dryer has always been hard to open, have to give it a real tug on the handle.
