Door flopping down hard
I removed the anchor screws at the top of the dishwasher, and the screws holding the bottom kickplate in place. I pulled out the dishwasher 8-10 inches to expose the cables where the plastic hinge arm links are installed. On mine, there is a steel cable with a hook crimped on the end. ... Read moreped hook easily as-is, the opening is too small. I removed the old link pieces by breaking them, but I couldn't get the new hinge arm links installed without filing the opening of the hook to accept them more easily. The demo installation video doesn't show this spring-cable-hook-hinge link configuration, so it was a little more involved than I expected. I would have packed my metal file if I had known this would be an issue. I replaced both sides while I was in there, and the remaining good one was pretty brittle. I was glad I took the time to do both. I had to file both sides to install the new links.
The dishrack rollers were easy to install. The rack slide end caps from the factory were difficult to remove and reinstall without some pliers and elbow grease. The replacement part was much easier to install.
Removed the stops at the end of the upper rack, removed the old rollers. Replaced with new rollers and installed the stops back in place. Very easy, finished in less than 15 minutes. Replacement rollers very much improved with design from the original rollers.

Rollers worn out, top rack would not slide open or closed without wiggling around.
Removed rack, removed old roller pieces, installed new, replaced rack , and works as new now!!

the upper rack fell off track
I thought the parts wouldn't be aailable. 10 minutes on the interner, easy check out, arrived UPS next day, popped off the old wheels according to the diagram and popped the new ones on.

I ordered and received part# wd35x20994 but the axels look different from part 703 on the dishwasher diagram and they don't fit on my dishwasher.
For model number GSD6660G00SS
Hi Irene, Thank you for the question. Checking the model number we do show other customers have been able to install this wheel and axle on the rack without issues. The axle will clip onto the rack with the arm of the axle pointing down and then rotates upward. Hope this helps!

Does the four part kit for the upper rack axle(part 703) also include the wheel (part 700)? The wheel on my dishwasher broke and that’s what i need. I appreciate any help.

In the upper rack wheel kit, i see that it includes part 703 in the diagram. I need part 700 which is the actual wheel. Is this included or sold separately? I have not been able to find it. I sent this question before and got sent back to the same page i was looking at originally. I would really appreciate some help in finding this piece.
