The element is heating up when outside the dryer. The sensors have all been cleaned but when we put it back together it will not heat, could it be the timer? If not what other thoughts you would like to share with me. Thanking you in advance for your consideration of sharing your knowledge.

Hello Patricia, Thank you for the question. If the Element and Sensors have all been tested and are good, the next part would be the Timer Control Board, Manufacturer Part Number 35001269. We looked up the part and it is listed as No Longer Available/Discontinued. There are no part substitutions listed. Our suggestion here would be to call the manufacturer and see if they can provide you with a substitution for these part numbers and contact us back with the updated substitution number. Callled the service company to diagnose the problem. Watched him take machine apart. He found the problem. Told me the parts that I needed. Didnt know what they were. Remove dryer covers and locate heater assembly. Removed heater assembly and checked visually if the heater coil is opened, I verified this with an ohm meter. Heater Continuity was OK. First remove the top of this particular dryer, to get to the necessary screws. computer is located on the left side, and 3 screws frees it up. Then disconnect the wires.
