For model number WTW5100HC1
Hi Cynthia, thank you for reaching out to PartSelect. The F7E1 error code indicates a motor speed sensing error. It means the main board has lost power during the spin cycle and the motor cannot achieve the correct speed for the cycle selection. The motor is having difficulty turning. Reset the washer by unplugging it for 5 minutes, then plug it back in and see if the error persists. This will hopefully reboot the electronic control board's memory. If the reset did not help, then check your breaker box or fuse panel, check the wall plug the washer is plugged into, and verify the proper voltage to the washer. Make sure the power cord is not burned or cut anywhere. And if it still does not help, this means the shift actuator, part number PS16221077, is faulty and will need to be replaced. If it does not help, you will need to replace the control board, part number PS16555300. Please reach out to customer service if you need help placing an order. Glad to be of help!
Pushed in on door strike and rotated it counterclockwise, removed broken strike and installed new strike. NOTE: when removing the old strike (turning counterclockwise) it felt like it might break and/or was attached with an screw that I didn't see but it came right out.
This product comes in a bottle with a brush like Liquid Paper. It goes on incredibly easy. A second coat might be needed. I wanted to prevent rust from setting in so I covered the scratches and dings. The paint is a little brighter since my washer is 10 years old but it still looks great.
