Washer on spin cycle does not spin with a full load, light load or empty the washer does spin but takes a little time to get up to full speed. I am suspecting the clutch is slipping.

Hi Randolph, thank you for the question. Washing machines spin the drum more slowly during the washing cycle and faster while draining. This is perfectly normal, as the slower spin speed will ensure the load gets mixed and cleaned properly. You will see the drum spinning faster when your washer is removing the water from the load. If you think the drum is spinning slower than it should, check the selected program’s spin speed. Make sure the load is evenly distributed. A washing machine that does not spin fast is likely experiencing a problematic drain system or objects stuck between its inner and outer tubs. When the drain system fails, excess water in the drum will prevent it from spinning fast. Likewise, stuck clothes and objects between the tubs will cause the same problem. A worn-out drive belt, part number PS265731, will also make your washer spin slowly. If the clutch, part number PS334641, wears out, it can create loud noises and also make the washer spin slowly. Is there a GENERIC ( cheaper)dryer filter replacement basket that will FIT my old stackable unit??? I can not afford the GE model ??

On a washer dryer combo no problem on the washer the dryer runs ok there is no heat looking for thermal fuse as a probability
