My dish washer will not hot dry

Thank you for your question. If your dishwasher is not drying the dishes, there are some parts that you will need to check to see which one is causing the issue. You will need to check the heating element, the high limit thermostat and the rinse aid on the dispenser. We have included a link that you may reference on how to check these parts. the dishwasher is filling, emptying and dumping the soap but the Wash Cycle is not circulating water. How do I determine if the wash pump is bad?

Hi Thomas, thank you for reaching out. Based on our understanding of the issue, we would suggest you check the continuity of the circulation pump. To test the continuity of the circulation pump, set the multimeter on the lowest resistance. Attach one probe to one terminal and the other probe to the remaining terminal. If you get a reading between 10 to 100 ohms, it is working fine. If not, you need to replace the circulation pump motor, part number PS12070585. We hope this solves your problem!

Hello Gladys, thank you for contacting us. We recommend checking the power cord, part number PS358548, and ensuring it is not damaged. Also, a blown thermostat, part number PS11743423, can also cause this problem. If this does not help, the issue is probably related to the control board, part number PS12704681. Customer service is always available to help you place an order if you are having trouble doing so. Good luck with your repair.
Trial and error. The instructions from Whirlpool included with the part had minuscule pictures so it was hard to follow. The written instructions were good. But "a picture is worth a thousand words." Eventually it worked. The metal replacement part is much better the the plastic original. Not a good reflection on Whirlpool.
I called an experienced plumber, who balanced and installed my new dishwasher properly, using the brackets I ordered from Parts Select, after an INEXPERIENCED plumber had tossed the factory-provided mounting brackets out with the shipping carton. Relief!
