I have checked plug, filters, gas,etc. but it now takes forever to start and when it does it runs fine can't tell if it is getting flooded or what. Have had for over 20 years and it used to fire up on first 2 or 3 pills. Wearing my arms out. Help

Hi Doug, thank you for reaching out. According to our research, we would recommend you check the diaphragm kit, part number PS9236597, which causes the carburetor to keep flooding. If your trimmer keeps running, check the start system. We hope this solves your problem!

Keep searches simple. Use keywords, e.g. "leaking", "pump", "broken" or "fit".
Replace clogged fuel filter.
Thru fuel cap, insert copper wire with hook formed on end. Fish around until you grab the fuel line. Pull the fuel line and filter thru the fuel fill neck.
Pull off old filter and replace with new. Push back into fuel tank & be done.
