How does the door lock look and how does it go back in washer
For model number MVW6200KW1
Hello Pamela, Thank you for your inquiry. We show the lid lock assembly for your model as part# PS12731130. While we do not have a repair video for this specific part number, you can download our FIX app which provides you with user manuals, how-to videos, and specific part numbers for your model. Pushed in on door strike and rotated it counterclockwise, removed broken strike and installed new strike. NOTE: when removing the old strike (turning counterclockwise) it felt like it might break and/or was attached with an screw that I didn't see but it came right out.
This product comes in a bottle with a brush like Liquid Paper. It goes on incredibly easy. A second coat might be needed. I wanted to prevent rust from setting in so I covered the scratches and dings. The paint is a little brighter since my washer is 10 years old but it still looks great.
