Smell of oil or cleaning fluid and takes longer to dry
For model number MEDC400VW0
Hi Susan,
Thank you for your question. If it is taking a long time for your dryer to dry clothes and you are getting a chemical or oil smell when it is in use, you may have a blockage in the vent duct. Check the lint filter and the vent duct to make sure that that they are free of lint. If they are clogged, you will need to clean them as they restrict air flow. If you have any questions, please let us know. We are open 7 days a week. We look forward to hearing from you!
