Our upper arm in not spinning but water does come out. We cleaned the arm and filter. The dishwasher still goes through its entire cycle and the bottom arm is spinning and draining properly. The upper rack is not getting dishes clean. Could this be just caused by a faulty diverter pump?
For model number LDFN4542S
Hi Therese, thank you for reaching out. Yes, the issue could be with the diverter pump, as it directs water flow between the different spray arms in your dishwasher. It controls which spray arm receives water at any given time during the wash cycle. Its part number is PS3579323. Check the upper spray arm for any damage as well before replacing this part. We hope this sorts out your problem!

How to fix noisy dishwasher during the entire run cycle and then with 47 minutes left quits and displays a BE code
For model number LDFN4542S
Hi Jeremy, thank you for the question. The error code bE stands for bubble error. If a regular hand wash or liquid dishwashing detergent is used, excessive bubbles may be generated, causing leakage to the outside. We would suggest using the recommended detergent. If the issue persists, check the detergent dispenser assembly, part number PS12078829, for any damage or fault. You may need to replace it to fix the issue. We hope this sort out your problem!

Control Panel lights started flashing like a lightswitch rave, dishwasher stopped working
This is apparently a widely known issue for LG, and since their call center was closed due to Coronavirus, I had no luck getting them to cover the repair. Not wanting to wait weeks of months for them to get off their duffs, I ordered the part and unscrewed the six screws holding the control panel on and unplugged the old part, plugged in

Dishwasher leaking; got AE error almost every other wash
The inside gasket deteriorates over time - However replacement is easy. the main thing you have to remember is after you remove the old gasket, install the new one starting at the middle top of the tub and work your way down both sides. Also, don't push the gasket all the way in...only enough to hold in place. When you close the door the

Second roller in on the left side was missing don't ask my how, pulling the bottom rack out the rack would dip down i had to lift it up to pull it the rest of the way out.
Ordered the roller from Parts Select, slid the roller over the little spindle sticking out of the bottom rack and snapped it in place. Job done in less than one minute.
