Thank you for your question. The AE error code indicates that there is a leak inside the dishwasher possibly from the water inlet valve, the hoses, or the door seal. You will need to inspect these parts to see which one is causing the issue. We hope this helps!
The inside gasket deteriorates over time - However replacement is easy. the main thing you have to remember is after you remove the old gasket, install the new one starting at the middle top of the tub and work your way down both sides. Ordered the roller from Parts Select, slid the roller over the little spindle sticking out of the bottom rack and snapped it in place. Job done in less than one minute.
