No power when door is closed for operation ?, but unit has power, ( FAN ) as example.

Hello Frank, thank you for contacting us. According to our research, the issue might be with the door latch, part number PS354898. It helps keep the door shut and prevents the compactor from operating when the door is not closed. A faulty latch may cause the door to not engage properly, resulting in the compactor not starting even when the unit has power. We hope this information helps!
This product comes in a bottle with a brush like Liquid Paper. It goes on incredibly easy. A second coat might be needed. I wanted to prevent rust from setting in so I covered the scratches and dings. The paint is a little brighter since my washer is 10 years old but it still looks great.
Since the belt broke, I had to put the cogged belt on the large driven pulley first, after loosening the four motor mount screws, and sliding the motor as close to the driven belt as I could. After several tries, I positioned the belt successfully on the driven pulley, then slipped it over the pulley on the motor. I pulled the motor as fa
