Dishwasher appears to clean well. However, on air dry, after sitting overnight, there is a pool of water in the bottom that was not there on on completion of all NORMAL cycles. Reviewing your tips pages, leads me to two possible culprits: 1. Sump Pump Check Valve Part #: PS11745441 or 2. Water Inlet Valve –: Part #: PS11746141 Q. If it was #2, is there a safety (even with cycles complete) that would prevent overfilling with cycles complete and lights off? The amount of water remaining barely covers the bottom of the tub. This water appears clean, without debris or soap. I have performed visual mtc on the Check Value finding only minimal fiber or hair on the chopper screen. Assistance diagnosing and repairing the machine if most welcome!!!

Hello Thomas, thank you for contacting us. According to our research, the issue is probably related to a faulty water inlet valve, part number PS11746141. We would recommend testing the valve for continuity using a multimeter. Set the multimeter to the continuity test mode, then disconnect the wires from the valve and touch one lead from the multimeter to each of the valve's terminals. Observe the reading on the multimeter, if it shows continuity (a low resistance reading), the valve is functioning properly, but if it shows no continuity (infinite resistance), then the valve is faulty and needs to be replaced. There is a safety float switch, part number PS11745484, in your dishwasher. It shuts the water fill valve off if the water level gets too high. We hope this sorts out your problem!

Loud grinding noise from water pump
Rather than remove the pump assembly - as an earlier post had done - I pulled the entire dishwasher out and laid it down on the floor. This allowed easy, direct access to the motor (that was the hard, messy part). From this point it was easy. Unplug the wiring, remove the retaining bolt, rotate the motor off the mounting brackets and pull it out. Then put the new one in. That was the easy part (about 15 minutes). The entire job took 2-and-a-half hours, most of which was taken in disconnecting, cleaning up and reconnecting the dishwasher. It's much quieter now.
