Dryer is not heating. Does it require new thermostat? If so, what is the part number?
For model number GTD40GBMK0WW
Hello Paul, thank you for contacting us. According to our research on your model, the most probable cause of the issue is a defective flame sensor, part number PS268031, and igniter, part number PS12339065. We would recommend testing these parts with a multimeter to ensure their continuity. Customer service is available 7 days a week if you require assistance placing an order. Hi. Gas dryer won’t even try to start nothing at all. Any ideas ? Thermal fuse ? If so where is fuse located. Thnx.

Hi Kyle, thank you for the question. The fuse is not listed for your model. We would recommend taking a look at the push-to-start switch, part number PS3487190, to see if it working or not. We hope this sorts out your problem!

Temperature control knob initially was very stiff but now spins with no ratcheting sound and nothing happens when the start button is pushed.
For model number GTD40GBMK0WW
Hi Don, thank you for your inquiry. Based on our understanding, we would recommend checking the knob if it is broken. If the knob is not broken, then you may have a faulty rotary switch, part number PS12310306. You may need to replace the switch to fix the issue. We hope this information is useful!
