Our dishwasher has a leak in the very front under the decorative panels. The root cause appears to be water overflowing the basin and getting into the lower door panel then leaking out under the edge. I have replaced the door gasket, the corner gaskets, but the issue again seems to be too much water in the basin. I have also now cleaned the float switch area which was extremely gunked up and probably not rising smoothly, But there is still a small amount of overflow into the door. What is contraining timely draining? The amount leaking is very small, but enough to start rusting out the color trim panels and soaking the spacer cardboard. Would changing the float switch make that much difference?
For model number GSD900X-02
Hi Douglas, thank you for your inquiry. Based on our research, the issue is most probably with the float switch. We would recommend replacing the float switch, part number PS260235, to solve the problem. It shuts the water fill valve off if the water level gets too high before the timed fill cycle ends. Glad to be of help!
